I Would Rather Worry About

I would rather worry about children enduring starvation.

I would rather worry about world peace.

I would rather worry about the environmental impact we are having on our planet.

I would rather worry about the good I put out into the world.

I would rather worry about how I impact others.

I would rather worry about protecting all people everywhere.

I would rather worry about bringing democracy.

I would rather worry about enabling people to use their voice.

I would rather worry about sparking creativity in children.

I would rather worry about early education funding.

I would rather worry about health coverage for the elderly.

I would rather worry about relationships between neighboring countries.

We waste so much energy on worrying about our looks.

How many followers we have.

The likes to dislikes ratio on our last post.

We waste energy on our looks.

On our clothes.

On our things.

We waste energy judging others.

Criticizing others.

Bullying others.

Mocking others.

I would rather worry about my spirituality.

I would rather worry that children have a quality education.

I would rather worry that people are no longer slaves.

I would rather worry about ending rape culture.

We waste energy on gossip.

We waste energy on judgement.

We waste energy on comparison.

I waste energy on vanity.

I waste energy on self-doubt.

I waste energy on guilt.

I was so much energy.

I should rather worry about others.

I should rather worry about the world.

I should rather worry about my neighbors.

I should rather worry about my friends.

I will worry about my friends.

This new year, try to worry where worrying deserves credit.

Try to use your stress in positive ways.

If you want to worry, obsess, alter things then make them things that deserve your energy to be changed.

I refuse to waste energy worrying about my bank account.

I refuse to waste energy worrying about my waistline.

I refuse to waste energy over my hair or acne.

I refuse to waste energy in regards to vanity or hate.

Use your energy to worry about things that deserve to be worried about.

Use your energy to worry about things that the world desperately needs to have changed.

Use your energy to change the things you worry over.

Of course, once you worry over real things that matter.

Sincerely,

Emily
