Let’s face it… there are TONS of magical pills, creams, concoctions, and mixes that are marketed as the holy grail of health. They are on billboards, magazine covers, found on celebrities Instagram pages, and even in the checkout line at the drugstore. And with so many little pills of wonder, how are you supposed to know what is essential to health and what may just be a $20 bottle of bull****.

Well, my loves, let me share with you my top 5 supplements that I take every day and why I take them! Because if there is one thing you should know about me: I don’t believe in wasting money!

#1: Probiotic


Probiotics are the number one gut health hero! They are what’s considered to be the “good bacteria.” Our bodies are made up of thousands of germs and bacteria, some good and bad! Probiotics are the good gut germs that helps feed your microbiome in your tummy. There’s still tons of ongoing research regarding probiotics, but the science shows that these little guys help fight against diseases, strengthen your immune system, help keep your body running smoothly in the bathroom (if ya catch my drift;) and can aid in overall wellness by assisting your stomach to break down food, extract nutrients, etc!

B12 is a vitamin that has really caught the eye of the health market lately and it deserves to be there! Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep the body's nerve and blood cells healthy and happy! It also helps prevent a type of anemia called megaloblastic anemia that makes people tired and weak.


B12 used to be found naturally in our soil, so many meat and poultry products used to provide us with B12 naturally from the plants they ate that got it from the ground! However, industrial agriculture and farming has changed this and B12 is rarely found in nature naturally! Therefore many people do not get enough of it and some don’t get any at all! B12 is one of those vitamins that everyone, regardless of your diet or lifestyle, should be

Vitamin C is found naturally in foods and most multivitamins, however, the more vitamin C you can get the better! It’s packed with anti-aging benefits, it can assist with healthier and stronger hair, skin, and nails, as well as, can aid in protecting your body and mind as you age!




And of course, vitamin C is hidden in the orange juice your mom told you to drink when you are sick! I take these capsules every day to help my body fight off colds, the flu, sickness, and sniffles because your girl doesn’t have time to get sick and neither do you!

#4: Turmeric & Black Pepper Capsule


Turmeric and black pepper each have a wide range of health benefits, due to the compounds curcumin and piperine. As piperine enhances curcumin absorption in the body by up to 2,000%, combining the spices magnifies their effects. However, if you’re like me, you don’t exactly dream about snacking on turmeric and black pepper flakes!

That’s why I take this little guy! The spice combination has been known to reduce inflammation and improve digestion, particularly in supplement form! (ta-dah!) Inflammation is where disease can grow in the body and digestion is also essential to helping your body run and fight the best way that it can! #5: Multivitamin



Finally, I think the number #1 pill I would recommend to almost anyone is a multivitamin! Whether you only eat kale or have never eaten a vegetable in your entire life, I think it’s important to have all your bases covered! The worst case scenario of you taking a multivitamin is that you don’t need all the nutrients and your body will just pee them out! So, do yourself a favor and take a daily vitamin every day just to help your body help you be the best version it can be!
